The police caught seven people and took another twenty-nine to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Six perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and one other was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen.
There was one traffic accident that resulted in serious injuries.
A 45 year old man was caught stealing food in a supermarket in Debrecen yesterday afternoon. After the security guard called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the Debrecen police station and a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
