The police caught thirteen people and took another twenty-seven to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Nine perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another two were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. One person was taken to a police station as a suspect.
There were three traffic accidents from which one resulted in serious injuries and two in minor ones.
A 32 year old man was taken to the Debrecen police station for attacking and assaulting an old man yesterday afternoon. The perpetrator hit the 82 year old man in the face for no reason. The old man was taken into hospital and a procedure was initiated against István R. on reasonable suspicion of assault.
