The police caught eight people and took another twenty-nine to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Five perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another three were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Two people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were two traffic accidents from which one resulted in serious injuries and one in minor ones.
Two women were caught stealing clothes in a supermarket in Debrecen yesterday morning. One of the employees of the supermarket noticed the suspicious behavior of the two perpetrators, so she asked them to show the content of their bags. After she found the stolen clothes, she called the police. The 30 and 16 year old women were taken to the Debrecen police station and procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
