The police caught five people and took another twenty-three to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Five perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another ten people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were nine traffic accidents from which one resulted in serious injuries and eight in minor ones.
A 50 year old man was caught stealing in a hypermarket on Kishegyesi Út yesterday morning. After the security guards called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the Debrecen police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
