Two people died, another two suffered serious injuries and twenty-four suffered minor ones in an accident that happened this afternoon near Nagykálló.
According to the available information, a school bus and a microbus that carried workers collided this afternoon between Geszteréd and Nagykálló. Two passengers of the microbus died immediately.
Pál Győrfi, spokesperson of the Hungarian National Ambulance Emergency Service said that nine ambulance cars and two ambulance helicopters were sent to the scene. A 19-year-old girl and a boy suffered serious head injuries; both of them were taken into hospital, one of them to Miskolc, the other one to Debrecen.
Other twenty-four people were taken into hospital to Nyíregyháza and to Debrecen.
For the time being, the police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
