Almost 9 kilograms of various kinds of drugs were confiscated by the Debrecen police.
Procedures were initiated against three drug dealers, Gergő P., János H. and Roland K. on reasonable suspicion of drug trafficking. A procedure was also initiated against Dávid L. on reasonable suspicion of drug possession.
The 23-year-old Dávid L. was caught possessing two packs of hash (207,5 grams) and 1000 Euros on Petőfi Tér on 18 November 2015. After Dávid L. was taken to the Debrecen police station for interrogation, the police have managed to gather information on a 25-year-old man, called Gergő P.
Gergő P. was caught selling drugs at the Csapókert train station on the same day; the police found 150 grams of hash in his bag, which was confiscated. The perpetrator was taken to the police station for interrogation. During the interrogation it turned out that there were two apartments that were connected to Gergő P.; the police searched both of them.
Detectives have found 8950 grams of brown-colored drugs, 31 grams of marijuana, 52 grams of white powder, 264 grams of hash, 4 liters of some kind of suspicious oil, 192 grams of another kind of powder that was mixed with gel and 4 grams of magic mushroom.
A 28-year-old man was also involved in the case. János H. helped Gergő P. to develop connections with customers in Debrecen. It also emerged that the two men purchased the drugs from Spain.
The two dealers’ foreign connection, the 22-year-old Roland K., was also identified. According to the available information, he lives in Spain, so the police issued a European and an international warrant for arrest against him.
Recently, the police have finished the investigation in the case and the motion of prosecution was sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
