Hoax bomb threat clears a factory in Hajdú-Bihar

On 19 September 2016 an unknown man called 112 emergency line and said that he had put a bomb in one of Hajdú-Bihar County’s biggest factories.

After the call, the production was stopped in the factory, all the 200 employees were evacuated from the building and bomb experts started to look out for the bomb.

It turned out that the alarm was a hoax; the experts did not find any bombs.

The police was notified about the incident and within three days, they have managed to identify the perpetrator.

The caller was taken to the Debrecen police station where a procedure was initiated against him.
