National Bureau of Investigation wants to hire 100 people to increase the number of staff at the Department Against Cybercrime.Cyber detectives hack hackers, detect computer fraud or simply monitor suspects. Károly Papp, chief of National Police said that new cyber detectives at the department against cybercrime would get better payment than the average. He also said that effective and decisive action again cybercrimes is a needed worldwide nowadays, and it is a great challenge for both European and Hungarian police.
Qualified senior programmers earn about 800,000 HuF (gross) in Budapest, while entrants get about 400,000 in the market sector.
Hungary needs about 200,000 IT experts each year, however there are only approximately 3000 graduates at the universities every year.
