Attila Bakó had a speech at a press conference on 1st March about safe traffic in Debrecen.Lieutenant-colonel was speaking about last two months’ rate regarding traffic accidents and experience on the current situation on the roads in Debrecen. During January and February, 2017 there were 92 traffic accidents in Debrecen where there were injured victims too. It is less than in last year’s first two months when there were 125 accidents on the local roads.
Most of the accidents are caused by driving fast or not complying with the rules.
There is a declining tendency of drunken driving in Debrecen.
