Illegal narcotics worth 200 million Hungarian Forints were confiscated by the Debrecen police.
The police caught four men and a married couple in their homes on 7 June 2017.
According to the available information, the 26-year-old István T. was a regular customer of the four men and the married couple, who spread narcotics throughout the country; the police have managed to find the suspects through István T.
The police have found more than 50 kilograms of marijuana and cash in the apartment of the couple. József C., one of the suspects, have stored 3 kilograms of amphetamine and 2000 pieces of ecstasy in his home. Psychoactive drugs, marijuana and cash were found in the apartments of the other three men.
The four men and the couple were taken to the police station were procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of drug trafficking.
Detectives are investigating the drug dealers’ foreign connections.
