A Macedonian man was sentenced to six and a half years of imprisonment by the Szeged Regional Court.
According to the available information, a Macedonian man wanted to smuggle 17 kilograms of marijuana to Berlin through Hungary last February. The suspect was found guilty in drug trafficking and he was exiled from Hungary for seven years.
Last year, the man rent a car to smuggle marijuana to Berlin and he hid 65 packs of marijuana to the vehicle. The defendant wanted to came to Hungary through the Röszke border crossing point, where his vehicle was looked through by immigration officers; more than 17 kilograms of marijuana was found and confiscated.
