Police from Hajdú-Bihar county and Budapest, along with the units of the Hungarian Counterterrorism Centre (TEK) caught six men who were trafficking with drugs in the country. The drug – found by the police – is worth more than 80 million HuF.On the 31st of May, 2018, police caught four men in Budapest. 55-year-old Péter Cs., 33-year-old Zsolt Sz., 29-year-old Gábor M. and 36-year-old István B. were trafficking with drugs all over the country. During the investigation, the police also caught the 33-year-old Sándor N. and the 23-year-old David M. in Debrecen, who were trafficking with drugs in Hajdú-Bihar county.
In the six men’s possession, the police found 6,4 kilograms of marijuana, 4.5 kilograms of amphetamine, 600 grams of cocaine, 8000 ecstasy pills and other drugs. The suspects also had nearly 20 million HuF in cash and another 1 million forints in foreign currency.
The six suspects were taken to the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters, where they were interrogated. Now, they are in custody.
Investigation of the case is still in progress.
