A 25-year-old man was taken to the Debrecen police station for stealing a minivan, for drunk driving and for driving without driving license.
An employee of a local company called the police on 19 September 2018 that somebody has stolen one of their minivans. The man also told the police, that a GPS was placed in the stolen vehicle and it was heading towards Vezér Utca, Debrecen.
After the call, the police went to Vezér Utca, where they have found the vehicle drifted off the road. The 25-year-old car thief was also there; Richárd R. was taken to the police station.
Richárd R. told the police that he did not want to walk, so he decided to steal a car to get home.
It turned out that he was drunk and he was driving without a driving license. Procedures were initiated against him.
