522 grams of amphetamine, 800 grams of marijuana, 180 pieces of ecstasy tablets, weapons and cash were confiscated by 168 policemen in ten locations in three counties.
Nine of ten drug dealers were arrested by the police on 10 September.
Proceedings were initiated against ten suspects by the Debrecen department of the National Bureau of Investigation on reasonable suspicion of drug trafficking.
Units of the National Bureau of Investigation carried out simultaneous raids in Budapest, Törökbálint, Debrecen and Szeged on 10 September 2019 and seized 522 grams of amphetamine, 800 grams of marijuana and 180 pieces of ecstasy tablets.
Weapons, cars and cash were also seized by the police.
All the ten suspects, six men and three women, were interrogated by the police; proceeding were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of drug trafficking.
