The incident happened on 31st July, in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca), Romania.
41-year-old Ferenc B. – who is a teacher at Sapientia University in Transylvania, Romania – started beating up his 30-year-old girlfriend on the streets of Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca) on 31st July, during the evening hours. The crime was recorded by a security camera. According to the police, the man was beating and kicking the young woman for eight minutes causing severe injuries to the victim.
The university faculty’s working community condemned the man’s act in a statement. The university also said it would launch an investigation under its own authority and initiate the prosecution of the instructor.
