German police have arrested a convicted Hungarian people smuggler in an operation in south-western Germany, police.hu said, adding that an extradition procedure is under way. The man, identified as János H, was sentenced to four years in prison by a court in Szeged, in southern Hungary, in January this year. He was hiding in Waldbroon, in Baden Württemberg, where he was arrested.
