The Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters prosecuted a local resident for a well-founded suspicion of a misdemeanor. According to the investigation, the 42-year-old driver was driving a car in downtown Debrecen when he hit a man at a designated pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Segner Square and Nyugati Streets. The pedestrian fell to the ground as a result of the collision and suffered serious injuries.
During the investigation phase of the case, the Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters carried out the necessary procedural steps and handed over the documents to the prosecutor’s office.
