Six locations, six distributors, and nearly 85 kilograms of drugs are the balance of the raid that took place on April 15, 2021, in Debrecen and Téglás.
The Debrecen Law Enforcement Division of the International Investigation Bureau of the Standby Police (KR NNI) is prosecuting three residents of Debrecen, including a woman, for a well-founded suspicion of drug trafficking in a criminal organization.
Investigators of the KR NNI Debrecen, in cooperation with the staff of the Counter-Terrorism Prevention Center (TEK), the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters and the Debrecen Police Headquarters, carried out police operations and carried out police measures at six locations on April 15, 2021.
During the research carried out in the apartments of the members of the Debrecen and brick gangs, a total of 80 kilograms of green drug-suspected plant derivatives and nearly 3.5 kilograms of white drug-suspected powder were seized, with a total black market value of HUF 250 million. Investigators also found equipment needed to grow the marijuana plant (pots, electrical appliances, fans, filter cartridges, drying trays, thermostats, moisture meters), as well as cell phones, SIM cards, an external hard drive for recording outdoor camera footage, and cash, which were also seized.
Members of the gang were interrogated as suspects by investigators, detained, and their arrest initiated.
