The Criminal Department of the Hajdúhadháza Police Headquarters prosecuted a man for a well-founded suspicion of committing an offense while driving while intoxicated. According to the data of the investigation, the suspect was driving his car in Nyírábrány, Árpád Street on December 12, 2020, at around 4 pm, when he drifted off the road and collided with a fence.
Police officers arriving at the scene used an alcohol probe against the driver, indicating a positive value. During the inspection, the officers also found that the man had never had a license, the Debrecen District Court banned him from driving for 36 months in July 2019 and the Nyírbátor District Court for 26 months in June 2019.
However, his criminal record did not end there, it also turned out that the car he drives does not have compulsory liability insurance and is also excluded from traffic. Police arrested the 35-year-old resident of Nyírábrány and then took him to the police station. He made a confession.
The Criminal Department of the Hajdúhadháza Police Headquarters carried out the necessary procedural steps and sent the resulting documents to the competent prosecutor’s office.
