A report of a sneaking thief was received by police on Sunday afternoon. According to the proceedings, the applicant, a woman from Hajdúsámson, was in her home when she noticed that there was a stranger in the other room of the property. The woman accounted for the uninvited guest searching in her bag and then notified the officers to the incident.
District agents immediately went to the scene and arrested the 56-year-old man. Investigators questioned the local resident as a suspect and he testified.
The Criminal Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters initiated proceedings against him on the basis of a well-founded suspicion of committing an attempted theft.
