Hajdú-Bihar county police officers, together with the staff of the Romanian authorities, have arrested five foreigners trying to cross the state border illegally in the last 12 hours.
A truck of Moldovan nationality applied for entry at Ártánd on July 12, 2021, at 3:50 p.m., in the hold of which were hidden five persons who declared themselves to be Afghan citizens. The men did not have the necessary documents to cross the border, they could not prove the legality of their stay in Hungary to be credible, so they could not enter the territory of Hungary. They are being prosecuted by the Romanian Border Police.
