The burglary subdivision of the Debrecen Police Headquarters has completed its investigation into the case.
According to the data of the procedure, on the night of July 13, 2021, unknown perpetrators broke into a warehouse in Debrecen, from where, among other things, machine tools and cables were stolen, worth more than half a million forints.
During the data collection, the police identified the alleged perpetrators, who were apprehended and taken to the Debrecen Police Station within two hours of the report. Investigators interrogated the 42-year-old resident of Debrecen and the 28-year-old resident of Hajdúsámson on suspicion of committing misconduct and committing a misdemeanor offense.
The two men first denied and later made a detailed confession, telling them where they hid the stolen objects. Police found the devices, seized them and then returned them to their owner.
The Criminal Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters carried out the necessary procedural steps and sent the documents to the Debrecen District Prosecutor’s Office with a proposal to bring them to court.
