The Chief of Staff of the Debrecen Police Headquarters, Tamás Szuhanics, learned that a local resident was living in his unheated property in rather poor conditions. He approached the 56-year-old man, who invited the officer into his house and told him he had health problems.
After the visit, the police contacted the Debrecen Municipality and the local social and health center on 28 January 2022. For a good cause, the former provided the firewood, while the latter donated food. The distressed man expressed his gratitude to the police officer and everyone who helped him.
