The man called a police officer for theft to his downtown apartment, from where he was taken on suspicion of drug trafficking.
A 21-year-old man asked for police help on the morning of March 19, 2022, because a woman that he invited to his home from a website offering sexual services and her companion who arrived with her had robbed him – he claimed 160,000 forints had disappeared from his wallet while he left the room.
Outgoing police officers found not only the whistleblower and the two women but also significant amounts of drug suspects in the apartment. All of those present admitted to having used drugs not long before – a fact that was confirmed by a rapid test.
In-house research seized digital scales, padlock bags, and a total of 46 grams of plant debris (presumable marijuana) and a gross 26 grams of white drug suspects seized, among other things. Seized materials are examined during the procedure with the assistance of an expert.
Investigators from the 5th District Police Headquarters of the Budapest Police Headquarters interrogated the 21-year-old and 25-year-old women as suspects for theft and possession of drugs. The drug was acknowledged by the two of them, but the theft was denied.
Investigators detained the man and made a motion to arrest him; the two women can defend themselves freely.
