Employees of a fashion store in Debrecen reported to the police on February 5th, 2022, that clothes had been stolen from their shop. The perpetrators stole various items of clothing worth tens of thousands of forints, police reported.
Police began investigating the case and soon a couple from Nyékládháza came to their attention.
According to the suspicion, the 35-year-old woman and the 66-year-old man went to the store three times and stole clothes worth a total of nearly 160,000 forints. They also took their 13-year-old daughter with them, who was persuaded to help them commit crimes.
On March 29th, 2022, the parents of the Debrecen Police Department investigated the parents as suspects due to a well-founded suspicion of the crime of theft and endangerment of a minor. They both made detailed confessions and police seized several items of clothing from the store during a search at their home.
