Debrecen investigators arrested a man suspected of drug trafficking.
It was barely dawn when the Debrecen detectives knocked on the door of a downtown apartment on February 1, 2023. The police went there because they received information that the man living there was selling drugs.
During the search of the apartment, the investigators seized more than 200 grams of plant debris suspected of being drugs, some of which had already been dosed in aluminum foil, as well as the tools used to portion out the drug. In addition, the rapid drug test applied to the man showed a positive value, which indicates consumption.
The criminal prosecutors of the Debrecen Police Department interrogated the 24-year-old Nigerian citizen on the well-founded suspicion of drug trafficking, took him into custody, and submitted a motion for his arrest.
