A bus and a car collided on Saturday evening on road 47 between Debrecen and Mikepércs, several people were injured in the accident, the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters informed police.hu.
A half-track closure is in effect on the affected road section for the duration of the investigation and technical rescue, they wrote.
According to the information of disaster management, a bus traveling according to the schedule and a car collided in the accident. Forty-five people were traveling on the bus, while the driver was the only one in the car, who was trapped in the vehicle; he was freed by the professional firefighters of Debrecen with the help of tension cutters.
The county news portal haon.hu referred to the ambulance service and wrote that the ambulances transported one person to the hospital with serious and two people with minor injuries.
