A man filed a complaint with the Debrecen Police Department at the beginning of June 2023 about the disappearance of his necklace, mobile phone, watch and wallet. His last memory was of drinking beer alone in a park in Debrecen, and then traveling to the city center by tram. However, he was puzzled by the almost complete loss of memory that followed.
The investigators immediately began to unravel the case. Their data collection soon yielded results, it turned out that a man joined the victim in the city center, who selflessly offered him his own drink. His victim soon fell into a helpless state, at which point he took all his valuables.
The criminal prosecutors identified the 24-year-old resident of Miskolc, then brought him to the police station on June 20, 2023, and after questioning him as a suspect, he was taken into criminal custody.
The Criminal Division of the Debrecen Police Department launched an investigation against him due to the well-founded suspicion of having committed the crime of robbery.
