Police and the ambulances were called to the scene. The other victim of the fatal accident was taken to hospital.
The two people who were hit by a car on Tuesday morning between Debrecen and Balmazújváros were pushing their bicycles, the police press department told the press. The National Ambulance Service stated that one man was taken from the scene to the hospital with minor injuries, while another man suffered such serious injuries as a result of the accident that unfortunately his life could not be saved.
According to Útinform, traffic restrictions were in force due to the fatal accident.
