The Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters is conducting a criminal investigation.
According to the investigation, on October 8, 2024, around 7:00 AM in Debrecen, at the intersection of Apafi Street and Hadházi Road, a motorist failed to yield to a cyclist traveling from Nyíl Street towards Hadházi Road and hit the cyclist. As a result of the accident, the cyclist suffered injuries requiring more than eight days of treatment.
The Debrecen Police Headquarters is requesting anyone who has information about the circumstances of the accident to come forward in person at the Traffic Police Department of the Debrecen Police Headquarters (Debrecen, Sámsoni út 149), or by calling the 24-hour hotline at 06-52/457-040, or the 06-80/555-111 Telefontanú green line, or the 112 emergency number.
