Great effort from our boys yesterday, that played in Cegled against the “blues” Nefelejts.
Game finished 14-12 for the pretorians that finally accounted as the first win of history against the Cegled Squad, and on the other side, coach Michele had the possibility to check out the new entries of the group.
Game started with the hosts try not converted, followed by the try of Edward Chen converted by Sean Lehane which putted the SPQR ahead 7-5. Than thanks to a great technical teamwork of the backs of Michele and teammates, try was awarded for a long run of Romain Lavie and converted again by Sean Lehane for the 14-5.
The last minutes of game contained a few moments of weakness of the team that had to defend and attack almost without no stop, some good play allowed the Blues in tryline again for the 14-12.
After the match 3rd half has been hosted at the field by the Cegled team, and the “Baptism” took place for the first game of the new players, which are now part of the family.
