The Hungarian national team won the Women’s Handball Junior World Championship in Debrecen after defeating the team of Norway by 28-22 in Főnix Hall at the Saturday night finals.The Hungarian junior team took part for the third time in the world championship after competing for the World Cup back in 2001 and 2003, but 17 and 15 years ago, the Hungarian team was defeated by Russia.
However, at this year’s tournament, coach Golovin Vladimir’s team has won the championship in Debrecen with a hundred percent performance.

The two teams had previously played against each other in the tournament. In the final round of the group stage the host team won by 35-27 and they started with a brilliant start (4-1) in the final.
