Last Tuesday saw the inaguruation of a free, open-air “gym” at Debrecen Ice Hall. As Lajos Kosa mayor told, the area is planning further investment in the local sports.
According to him,the total cost of the construction was 15 million Hungarian Forints; 12.5 million was financed by a tender of the Ministry of Interior, and the missing part was covered by their own resources. The park provides a variety of strengthening exercises, e.g. rope climbing, pull-ups and stretching exercises may be carried out for sports lovers. Lajos Kosa told that they also plan to build a lighted soccer field next to the ice rink.
