Here we share an article by the Hong Kong Herald about the sack of Bo Xilai from his position of Communist Party boss in Chongqing (that is one of the twin cities of Debrecen).

• Chongqing police chief, Wang Lijun, had sought refuge in the US Consulate in Chengdu
Bo, 62, would be replaced by Vice Prime Minister Zhang Dejiang as party secretary of Chongqing, according to the official Xinhua news service.
His removal comes a day after country’s annual parliamentary session ended. In fact, his absence at the National People’s Congress (NPC) had set tongues wagging.
Bo was widely expected to join the all-powerful Standing Committee of the Politburo, a nine-member body that effectively runs the country.
However, trouble for Bo began when Chongqing police chief, Wang Lijun, sought refuge in the United States Consulate in Chengdu, about 210 miles from Chongqing.
Wang, who was being probed in a corruption case, had spent the night in the US consulate, sparking speculation that he had asked for asylum. He was however escorted to Beijing by security officials and also removed from his post.
On Wednesday, during a news conference at the closing of the parliamentary session, Premier Wen Jiabao said that local authorities must “seriously” reflect and learn from the Wang incident and that Beijing regarded such things “very seriously.”
Bo had been noted for bringing back red culture, including the singing of revolutionary songs.
