An international conference was organized by the Centre for Agricultural and Applied Economic Sciences, entitled “From table to plough-land”.
Lectures were held on the coherence of population growth, water resources development and climate change. Lectures were given by more than 350 experts in 8 sections.
Besides the lecturers of Hungarian universities, experts from foreign countries also came, for instance from University of Jena, Tubingen, Ghent, Polish Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Kiev, Nagyvárad and Kolozsvár.
