Ivrit, that is Modern Hebrew language can also be learnt at the Summery University of Debrecen.
The success of the Swedish language course showed that there are language learner students who are interested in rarely used languages as well. The Summery University aims to find those languages for which there are only a few opportunities to learn in the town despite the potential demand for them. Besides economic and work related motivation, cultural and personal reasons are also important.
Among the plans of the summer school there is the teaching of Romanian language as well. Not only the physical proximity, but also the extensive economic and cultural relations can justify students’ interest towards learning it.
Among this year’s courses there is the Ivrit, that is Modern Hebrew language, which could only be learnt in Budapest so far.
