Interactive materials and lectures help bring physics closer to students…
The Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Nuclear Research (ATOMKI) received almost 100 million Ft financial aid according to the New Széchenyi Plan. It is due to be implemented in programs that promote the Institute’s research achievements and successes.
Easily understandable lectures on the researches of the ATOMI are organized in schools of the surroundings (especially disadvantaged micro-regions) of Debrecen. Primary school students from classes 5-8, high school students and those interested are welcomed at this series of lectures.
The won financial source allows the Institute to produce interactive publications and films in English and in Hungarian. In addition, the already existing web page „Physics for Everyone” can be developed and expanded with (among other features) a virtual tour in the ATOMKI.
