A program is launched for the promotion of academic life in the fields of mathematics, natural sciences, technology and IT.
A program, which is to be realized in the next two years, is funded by tenders. The program was developed to increase the number of students, to facilitate the management of talents and the international and regional dissemination of innovative results.
The University is going to join again the annual event – Researchers’ Night (Kutatók Éjszakája), but it is the first occasion that new awards – Women Researchers’ Prize, and Roma Researchers’ Prize are to be given. Besides this, the institution will organize new events, among which there is the Tormay-Eco Day. In addition, secondary school teachers’ conference will be held, where teachers can update their knowledge on the newest research findings of their subjects.
The Women in Science Program is designed to introduce and familiarize secondary school girls and young women with the career model in teaching and research.
Research Café (Kutató Kávézó) will provide an informal opportunity for professionals of economic and academic fields to meet, while Kids’ University (Kölyök Egyetem) will promote academic life on on-line platforms.
The translation of the University’s homepage is going to be continued, and it is also certain that the institution is going to be present at Sziget and Campus Festival.
