Hungarian-German Joint Research & Conference was held in the topic of the cultural, social and economic diversity in East and Central European German Diaspora.
A conference was organized by the Ethnography Department of the University of Debrecen and the Institut für Volkskunde der Deutschen des östlichen Europa (IVDE) in Freiburg between 3-6 October. The joint research program is to be renewed for the next year, and a publication of common work is planned as well.
