The European Society for Agronomy organizes its XIII. Congress in August, at the University of Debrecen.

Two years ago, in Helsinki, more than 300 professionals discussed about topics of crop cultivation, artificial ecological systems, climatic change, the use of plant models and the planning of plant systems.

The congress at Debrecen is going to have 8 sections, all held in English. New research findings and crop production problems of Central and Easter Europe is to be discussed with the aim of founding a regional ESA organization.

Péter Pepó, leader of the Plant Sciences Institute of the UD, will be the head of this international congress.
