Debrecen’s biggest medical congress, the XIX. Cardiology Days, is being held between 3-6 March at Kölcsey Centre.
Cardiologists, internists, family doctors and Phd students can have access to up-to-date information in the field of cardiology. For instance, lectures will be hold about the epidemiological data of ischemic heart disease, about heart attacks and about chronic and acute coronary artery disease. These lectures include new information, that was said at the European and world conferences of the past few years. Besides, interactive seminars teach participants how to treat high blood pressure, arrhythmias, angina pectoris, heart failure and heart valve problems with new therapeutic instruments available at the Clinics.
Borderline topics are also on the agenda of the Congress; how to assess cardiology risks before surgery, novelties in anticoagulation treatments, stroke and diabetes.
There is also an English section, an experimental-theoretical one, where noted foreign lecturers will discuss the newest cardiology researches.
