Record number of companies, new exhibitors and HR professionals – all these will be present at the Career Day on 16th April.
The University of Debrecen has been organizing this event since 1997. 80 companies –mostly multinational companies – confirmed their participation for this year. Besides them, medium sized enterprises and mediating companies will be present. The program is of national importance, 3-4000 visitors are expected.
Among the main aims of the Career Day are to facilitate job search for novice graduate students and to improve the “culture” of going to interviews and writing CVs.
Employers have increasing demands towards employees, and freshmen are of no exceptions. Nowadays, a degree and language proficiency are not enough – related work experience is also required. For this reason, it is worth planning one’s university years to include internships or part-time jobs to gain the necessary experience and skills, such as cooperative work and problem-solving ability.
