The University of Debrecen is still popular among graduating students: 14.534 of them applied to various majors this year.
A Hungarian educational portal Eduline has made a list that ranks the universities on the basis of popularity. The most popular is the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest; more than 23 thousands students sent there their application forms. The second is the University of Szeged with 14.646 applicants and the third one is the University of Debrecen.
In the top ten the following Hungarian universities can be found: University of Pécs, Corvinus University of Budapest, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest Business School University of Applied Sciences, Szent István University, Semmelweis University and the Óbuda University.
