According to the list of higher educational institutions made by Times Higher Education, six Hungarian universities are ranked among the best.
University of Debrecen has been put into category 601-800 based on the following features: quality of environment, quality of researches, amount of citing research papers made at the university, income of the institution and number of foreign students and professors at the uni.
Other Hungarian universities on the list are Semmelweis University (501-600), Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Eötvös Loránd University, University of Pécs and University of Szeged.
There are American and British universities on the top of the list accompanied by a Swiss one. Best university is the American California Institute of Technology, the second is Oxford, while the third one is Stanford.
