Indigenous trees were planted last weekend in Sáránd (Hajdú-Bihar county) by students and teachers of the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Science.
During the programme they also created nests for birds and put them in parks and private yards in the town. Main goal of the programme is to examine connections between wildlife and farming in private gardens, and to promote feeding wild animals, especially birds during winter.
