A new kind of fish has been discovered by scientists of the Faculty of Hydrobiology at the University of Debrecen.
The new species is a kind of barbel and it is living in Körös River. The new kind of fish is called Barbus biharicus.
The reserach – during which Barbus biharicus was discovered – was led by László Antal.
