Thanks to a new scholarship programme, a hundred new Jordanian students will have the opportunity to come and study at the University of Debrecen in the first semester of 2016/2017.
Stipendium Hungaricum programme provides scholarship to 400 Jordanian studensts a year. They can visit lectures and seminars at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Corvinus, the University of Pécs and the University of Debrecen.
A Jordanian delegation arrived to Debrecen on the 4th of March to discuss the details with Elek Bartha, László Mátyus, Attila Jenei and Orsolya Jánosy.
83 Jordanian students visit various faculties at the University of Debrecen in 2016, medical studies, health care and engineering are the most popular fields of study among them.
According to the plans, a Hungarian cultural institute and a Hungarian university department will also be created in Jordan.
