The city of Debrecen and the university were presented too at a special event called Hungarian Days in Tel-Aviv, Israel on the 6th and 7th of May.
Debrecen was the only Hungarian city which had the opportunity to present Hungarian gastronomy, culture and tourism at the programme. The University of Debrecen also had a pavilon at the event.
The University of Debrecen has more than 250 Israeli students this year, most of them are attending lectures at the Faculty of Medicine.
The delegation of the University of Debrecen also visited the city of Rishon LeZion, where they had a discussion with the representatives of the College of Management Academic Studies (COMAS) about the future connections between the two institutions.
