One of the violinists of the Japanese Imperial Court was playing in Debrecen.
The Young Musicians’ Summer Academy was held on 15-24 July at the Faculty of Music of the University of Debrecen. Besides a number of individual master courses of the Young Musicians’ Summer Academy the talented young musicians could take part in an orchestral master course with the leadership of Vásáry Tamás pianist and conductor, honorary citizen of Debrecen, awarded Kossuth Price and Bolyky Zoltán assistant conductor.
The String Gala was held on 22 July. Its special guest was one of the violinists of Japanese Imperial Court, Megumi Ozawa. He was invited by Sándor Nagy, who is a professor at the Tokyo Musashino Academy since 2000.
