Delegation of the Israeli city, Rishon LeZion visited the University of Debrecen during their four-day-long trip to Hungary.Elek Bartha welcomed the Israeli delegation on the 14th of September at the University of Debrecen. Members of the Israeli group were interested in various types of education offered by the university to Israeli students, since more than 270 young Israeli people are attending lectures and seminars at the University of Debrecen this semester. Most of them are students at the Faculty of Medicine.
Elek Bartha presented the university and its curriculum to the Israeli delegation. He also told the delegation that currently more than 4000 foreign students are visiting the university (15% of the university students are from abroad), which makes the University of Debrecen the most multicultural educational institution in Hungary.
